Born and raised in New Orleans, Mark Seghers has lived, worked and traveled in many places in the United States and around the world, including Africa, Europe, China and Southeast Asia. His experiences make him keenly aware of the difficulties facing non-citizens, both in their home countries and in the United States. He now lives in South Louisiana, where he and his wife raise their two children. He is active in public education, volunteer work, community outreach, and youth athletic programs. His Areas of Practice include Immigration and Naturalization, Contract Law, and General Practice. Mark is fluent in English and Chinese.
Mr. Seghers is admitted to practice law in all Louisiana State Courts and Federal Court Eastern Disctrict of Louisiana.
Born in Puerto Rico, Jorge Perez is an Attorney and Certified Public Accountant. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico, earning a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and earned his law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Mr. Perez is admitted to practice law in all Louisiana State Courts and Federal Court Eastern Disctrict of Louisiana. He is also a notary public. His areas of practice include Taxation, Immigration, Business, and Family Law.
He has worked as a CPA more than 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Malcolm M. Dienes, L.L.C., Metairie, Louisiana. Mr. Perez is fluent in Spanish and English.
Mr. Perez has also worked with the Pro Bono Project of New Orleans, where he currently resides and dabbles in music.
